Wheels and Waves, 12-14 Giugno 2015. Dove la moto diventa arte

Wheels and Waves è il più importante raduno di moto special, custom e vintage: un laboratorio a cielo aperto che trasforma la bellissima Biarritz nella capitale mondiale della New Wave of Custom Motorcycles. Ci sono tutti al Wheels and Waves: dagli organizzatori del Southsiders Motorcycle Club a El Solitario, dal mitico Vintagent (Paul D’Orleans, numero 1 al mondo in fatto di moto d’epoca) ai parigini di Blitz, i cui crossover tra BMW 2 valvole e vecchie moto da regolarità sono diventati l’oggetto del desiderio dei ragazzi di mezza Europa.
Il confine tra meccanica e arte si fa labile a Biarritz, quasi invisibile. Nei nostri articoli parliamo spesso di moto-artisti: esperti di meccanica con una verve creativa fuori dal comune. Persone folli e interessanti, con una visione del futuro profondamente innovativa ma legata a quanto di meglio il passato abbia da offrirci.

[Wheels and Waves is the most important custom motorcycles’ event: a huge, outdoor workshop that transforms the beautiful art-deco city of Biarritz in the world capital of the New Wave of Custom Motorcycles. Everybody comes to Wheels and Waves: from the Southsiders Motorcycle Club, who has been organizing the event since the first edition, to El Solitario, from the Vintagent (Paul D’Orleans, number 1 expert about vintage motorcycles) to the Parisians of Blitz Motorcycles, whose creations are now the forbidden wish of many European riders.
At Wheels and Waves, the border between mechanics and art is very liquid and almost invisible. Our articles talk about moto-artists: mechanics experts with a particular creative attitude. Freaky, cool and interesting people, with a deeply innovative vision of the future but closely linked to the best we have inherited from the past.
