Moto Guzzi V7 “Tractor 03” by Venier Customs

Non c’è niente da fare: i cilindri “fuori” sono un punto a favore per l’estetica di qualunque special. Per questo BMW la fa da padrona nel mondo nelle new custom anche se Guzzi, con molti meno preparatori ma con modelli perfetti per ogni tipo di preparazione, sta guadagnando terreno. Noi, ogni volta che vediamo una café racer o una scrambler con un bicilindrico trasversale farsi strada nelle nostre città ci sentiamo mossi da orgoglio. Chiamatelo campanilismo italico, o quello che volete, ma così è.
Stefano Venier è un trevigiano che vive a New York, e dalla sua Venier Customs nel cuore di Brooklyn si diverte a diffondere l’eccellenza italiana per le strade della Grande Mela.
La sua “Tractor 03” è costruita su base V7 2011: è dunque una moto moderna a tutti gli effetti ma con parecchio piglio in più rispetto alla versione bella-ma-non-mi-volto-indietro da cui deriva.

[A two-cylinders engine “out” of the frame almost improves the aesthetics of a custom bike. That’s why BMW is king in the world of the new customs even though Moto Guzzi, with a few very specialized builders, is winning ground. The donor morotcycle for his “Tractor 03” is a 2011 Guzzi V7. Ok, we know, the super-scrambler we see in the photos is probably ten times more fascinating than the original model].

Tra i dettagli degni di nota ci sono il simbolo di Venier Customs sul serbatoio, sul terminale di scarico e sullo strumento. La moto è quasi del tutto originale, tanto che il telaio non è stato toccato e i cerchioni hanno semplicemente subito un processo di brunitura.
La sella ospita comodamente due persone per garantire, come sottolinea Stefano “il confort che tutte le moto destinate a un uso quotidiano dovrebbero avere”.

[The Venier Customs logo appears on the tank, the exhaust and the speedometer. The parts are almost all stock: the frame stays untouched and the wheels have been powder-coated.
