Harley Davidson Panhead (1959) bobber

Matt Whitlock è un costruttore di hotroad e custom su base Harley Davidson e, quando non è impegnato a incastrare vecchi bicilindrici nei telai rigidi dei suoi clienti, si diverte a passeggiare su questo favoloso bobber di 56 anni d’età.
La moto ha una storia davvero curiosa: dopo averla acquistata una quindicina d’anni fa, Matt inviò il motore a mettere a posto dopo un incidente. L’officina prese fuoco ma il motore resistette. A quel punto, il tenace proprietario si dedicò a un’opera di customizzazione pressochè totale, costruendo da solo gran parte dei componenti. Il risultato è quello che possiamo ammirare.

This bike has a peculiar story: after purchasing him 15 years ago, Matt sent the motor off for a rebuild but the workshop burnt down. However, the engine resisted the fire and the tenacious owner devoted himself to a 360° customization, building with his hands the vast majority of the components.
