Chad Hodge è un preparatore emergente di Brooklyn dove il fermento riguardo alla new wave of custom motorcycles è da qualche anno ai massimi livelli, grazie anche al fatto che lo storico hood newyorkese sia la sede del glorioso e sempre più noto Motorcycle Film Festival.
Il padrone di questa 100/7 è un creativo del mondo della moda (settore degli occhiali) il quale ha chiesto a Chad una moto che rispecchiasse a pieno lo spirito brat, ma che fosse al contempo affidabile e adeguata a trasferte medio-lunghe. La scelta non poteva che ricadere sul due valvole bavarese, motore generoso, in particolare nella sua configurazione da 1000 cc, e dal look ineguagliabile.

[Chad Hodge is a custom maker from Brooklyn, a place where the new wave of custom motorcycles has been ruling for the last decade. We just have to think about The Motorcycle Film Festival, which takes place every year, at the end of September, in the historical New York City hood.
The owner of this 100/7 is a eyeglass designer who asked Chad for a brat-style bike that was at the same time reliable and suitable for long trips. The choice had to be a bavarian airhead: a generous engine, especially in its 100/7 configuration, and with an unparalleled look].

La cura del dettaglio è da manuale: dalla sella in pelle che continua nel particolare sul serbatoio, alla borsina degli attrezzi montata direttamente sul motore, al manubrio larghissimo da regolarità anni ’70 con comandi dell’epoca, tutto sembra studiato per rendere questa due un pezzo unico e originale.
