Suzuki DR 650 “The Arsenale” by Blitz Motorcycles

Le capitali europee della New Wave of Custom Motorcycles sono due: Milano e Parigi. E’ in queste città che si preparano alcune tra le più belle moto al mondo, è dal moto-quartiere Isola e dal 17° arrondissement che si propagano i trend che influenzano moltissimi altri costruttori, grandi e piccoli, conosciuti o “privati”. Questa DR 650 del ’94 ribattezzata “The Arsenale” arriva proprio dalla capitale francese dove i ragazzi di Blitz, due tizi barbuti e super-cool, hanno individuato una base finora snobbata dai preparatori e dai loro clienti (DR 650, se ne trovate una non pensateci troppo) e ne hanno fatta una tracker nera, leggera, potente e cattiva.

This ’94 DR 650, named “the Arsenale” by its creators, comes from the French capital where Blitz Motorcycles, a company owned by two bearded and super-cool folks, found a donor motorcycle which has often been disregarded by many builders and their customers. Cosa ci colpisce di più? Innanzitutto il colore: nero, motore compreso per il quale è stata usata una vernice speciale resistente alle alte temperature. Il manubrio, bellissimo e perfettamente in linea con lo stile della moto, è di origine Triumph mentre il faro giallo, come ben si conviene sui mezzi francesi, viene da una macchina da rally dove era impiegato per l’illuminazione supplementare.
