[IF you have been at Wheels and Waves, Motor Bike Expo or at the Bike Shed, you must have noticed it: a super common Yamaha SR 250 completely rebuilt to a nature that not even Yamaha thought it could ever be possible: half bobber, 1/4th record bike for the Bonneville Speed Week, 1/4th mechanical hors for post-industrial duels. It’s the Winning Looser, ladies and gents, a bike that has never won a prize but has been great in having everyone talk about it, living up to its name. The transformation required David Borras and partners more than 500 hours of work. However, it is greatly responsible for the entrance of the builder Gallego (of the Galicia’s ) in the Gotha of special bikes manufacturers].
